1. Definitions

• "Service" — The home visit makeup artist services offered by Lanhua, including Subtle Enhancement, After-Work Transition, and Film & Media Preparation.
• "Client" / "You" / "User" — Any individual who accesses the Lanhua website or engages our services.
• "We" / "Us" / "Our" — Lanhua, operating from No. 38, Nanjing East Road Sec. 3, Zhongshan District, Taipei 104, Taiwan.
• "Agreement" — These Terms and Conditions, together with any service booking confirmation.
• "Website" — The Lanhua website accessible at https://lanhua.life

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or booking our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are legally capable of entering into binding agreements, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm you have authority to do so.

3. Services

Lanhua provides professional home visit makeup artist services across Taipei. Services are delivered at your specified location within our service area. We offer three primary services: Subtle Enhancement, After-Work Transition, and Film & Media Preparation. Service details, durations, and pricing are described on our website and confirmed at the point of booking.

Service availability is subject to artist availability and geographic reach within Taipei. We reserve the right to decline or modify bookings where circumstances make delivery impractical.

4. Booking and Confirmation

Bookings are made through direct communication via our contact form, email, or phone. A booking is confirmed only when both parties have agreed in writing (or by confirmed exchange) to the date, time, service, location, and price. We recommend keeping written confirmation of your booking details for reference.

We may, at our discretion, request a deposit for Film & Media Preparation sessions. If required, this will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session: no charge.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours: 50% of the service fee may be charged.
• No-shows (artist arrives at agreed location, client unavailable): full service fee applies.
• Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours before the session will be accommodated where possible at no additional charge.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or events outside our control. Where we cancel, a full refund or rebooking without penalty will be offered.

6. Client Responsibilities

By booking a session, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact and location information
• Disclose any relevant skin sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions prior to the session
• Ensure the agreed location is accessible and reasonably suitable for a makeup session
• Not request services that are outside the agreed scope without prior discussion
• Treat the artist with respect throughout the visit

7. Payment

Payment is due at the end of the session unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash and bank transfer (wire). All prices are quoted in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Pricing is confirmed at booking and will not change after confirmation unless the scope of the session changes with your agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Lanhua website — including text, images, design, and branding — is the property of Lanhua and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our website content without written permission. This does not affect your rights to use information about our services for personal reference purposes.

9. Photography and Client Privacy

Lanhua will not photograph, record, or share any images of clients or sessions without prior written consent from the client. If a client consents to photography for portfolio or promotional purposes, this will be agreed separately and in writing before any images are taken or shared.

10. Disclaimers

Lanhua provides professional services to the best of our ability. However, we do not make specific representations about outcomes, as individual results vary based on factors including skin type, lighting, and personal preference. Information on our website is provided for general purposes and does not constitute professional medical or dermatological advice.

Our website and services are provided "as is". We do not represent that the website will be error-free or continuously available.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Taiwan law, Lanhua's liability for any claim arising from the use of our services is limited to the amount paid for the relevant session. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

We are not liable for adverse skin reactions resulting from undisclosed sensitivities or allergies. If you experience an unexpected reaction, please inform the artist immediately and seek appropriate medical advice.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Taipei, Taiwan. We encourage clients to first contact us directly to resolve any concerns informally before pursuing formal channels.
